Look for bat signs
This is a classic entry point for bats. note the dirt and oil stains.
Look around the outside of your house. Look up under the edge of your roof at the soffit. Is any missing? Does it look unusually dirty up there? What you may be looking at is an entrance for bats into your home. Do you hear a strange chirping sound? Getting strange odors in your home that you cannot explain?
